Our 12 ha camping, huddled between the coast of the Atlantic and the Gironde estuary, offers direct access to the beach and is a privileged spot at the seaside, in the heart of nature and in the shadow of the pine trees.

Two ways to access the camping

From Royan, Camping Amélie Plage can be accessed via a regular ferry across the Gironde from Royan to le Verdon-sur-Mer (about 10 KM to Soulac). For all details on the ferry, please consult pointe-medoc.com

An alternative route is to drive to Bordeaux and right up to Soulac in the north. From Bordeaux you need to exit the peripherique or ring road at junction 7 and head up the D215 followed by the D1 towards Lesparre Medoc and le Verdon.

The charm of Soulac-sur-mer
The town of Soulac-sur-mer (3 km from the camping) is the first seaside resort of the Aquitaine region. You can pace its streets bordered by old red-brick villas (built at the end of the 19th century), which give the town an elegant and refined touch.
You will also discover a local market, a wide and varied offer of boutiques, seasonal festivities (1900's weekend, sea feast ...)
